The Tuscorora Indians in New York

The Tuscarora Indian Reservation is still there in 2024. Here's how it was shown on the 1852 Niagara County wall map, surrounded by the town of Lewiston.

It was a large area in 1852.

Title block from the old wall map.

We noticed this reservation when we were "chopping up" the old county map into town prints, which we sell.

The original 1852 map is a large 41x59.
